Why 360 Wind

A windsock you don't keep buying.

Fabric windsocks are consumables. They sit in the same wind they measure, and the wind wins. Ours is rigid aluminum on sealed bearings, so it turns with the wind instead of being torn apart by it.

Traditional fabric windsock

The ongoing cost

  • Deteriorates in the wind. Sun, frost and constant movement break the fabric down.
  • Rips apart and needs replacing. Another purchase, another work order, every time.
  • A torn sock is a safety hazard. A shredded windsock gives your crew nothing to read.
  • Hard to see after dark. Plain fabric gives nothing back to a headlight.

The 360 Wind blade

A one-time purchase

  • Rigid aluminum blade. Nothing to fray, flap or shred in a prairie wind.
  • Buy it once. No replacement cycle to budget for and no repeat trips to site.
  • Sealed bearings. The blade keeps turning to the wind instead of seizing up.
  • Visible day and night. High-visibility orange by day, reflective wrap under headlights.

Product Features

Three parts. Nothing to wear out.

The whole design is a rigid blade, a reflective wrap and a sealed bearing. That's the point — fewer parts, fewer things the weather can take away from you.

Aluminum construction

A rigid aluminum blade provides an alternative to a fabric windsock.

Reflective orange wrap

Bright orange for daytime visibility, with a reflective surface that stands out under headlights.

Sealed bearings

The rotating design uses sealed bearings so the blade responds to wind direction.

Two available sizes

Choose the 8/24 or the 16/48 depending on your site and how far away it has to be read from.

Our Products

Two sizes. Same build.

Both blades use the same aluminum construction, reflective orange wrap and sealed bearings. The difference is how big a blade your site needs. Contact us for pricing, availability and help choosing a size.

About 360 Wind

A Saskatchewan business.

360 Wind is a Saskatchewan business offering rotating wind blades for agricultural, oilfield and industrial settings. Our product combines a rigid aluminum blade, a high-visibility orange finish and sealed bearings in a straightforward design — built to stay on the post rather than end up in the ditch.

Whether you're purchasing for your own operation or looking to stock blades at your retail location, contact us to discuss your needs. 360 Wind is a product of Tremor Industrial Services.

What makes this different from a regular windsock?

A fabric windsock wears out in the wind — it deteriorates, rips and has to be replaced, and a torn sock becomes a safety hazard because nobody can read it. The 360 Wind blade is rigid aluminum on sealed bearings, so it's a one-time purchase instead of a recurring one.

Which size should I order?

The 8/24 measures 8 inches across the wide end and 24 inches long. The 16/48 measures 16 inches by 48 inches. Pick the larger blade when it needs to be read from further away. If you're not sure, tell us about your site and we'll help you choose.

Can it be seen at night?

The blade is finished in high-visibility orange for daytime, and the reflective wrap makes it stand out when it's lit by headlights or other light sources.

Do you sell to retailers?

Yes. We welcome inquiries from retailers as well as farms, oilfield operators and industrial businesses. Contact us about quantities, sizes and pricing.
